BPCL Q4 FY25 Results: Revenue down 3.93% YoY to Rs 1,26,864.93 crore, Net profit falls 23.9% YoY 

Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) reported a 23.8% year-on-year decline in standalone net profit for the quarter ended March 31, 2025 (Q4 FY25). Net profit came in at Rs 3,214.06 crore, compared to Rs 4,224.18 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year (Q4 FY24).

Full-Year FY25 Highlights:

  • Revenue from operations: Rs 5,00,371.25 crore vs Rs 5,06,805.81 crore in FY24

  • Net profit: Rs 13,275.26 crore vs Rs 26,573.50 crore in FY24, a 50% YoY decline

  • Profit before tax: Rs 17,664.33 crore vs Rs 35,548.37 crore YoY

  • Total expenses: Rs 4,84,019.19 crore vs Rs 4,71,977.43 crore YoY

Despite sequential stability in income and expense levels, BPCL’s annual profit fell significantly, attributed largely to lower refining margins, inventory losses, and elevated operational costs over the fiscal year.

The company also recorded exceptional income of Rs 1,773.93 crore during the quarter, consistent with previous periods.
