BHEL emerges as successful bidder for NTPC’s 3×800 MW Telangana Stage-II supercritical thermal power plant

Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has secured a major contract from NTPC Ltd. for the Main plant package of the 3×800 MW Telangana Stage-II supercritical thermal power plant. BHEL’s scope of work under this contract includes design, engineering, manufacturing, supply, erection, commissioning, and civil construction.

The project received a Limited Notice to Proceed (LNTP) from NTPC, allowing BHEL to initiate the basic engineering work for the upcoming plant. This project further strengthens BHEL’s longstanding partnership with NTPC, where BHEL has contributed over 57% of NTPC’s thermal power installations nationwide.
