Bank of Maharashtra reports 16.87% YoY growth in total business to Rs 507,670 crore

CASA deposits showed a steady increase, rising by 11.50% to ₹137,504 crores, maintaining a CASA ratio of 49.28%. In terms of gross advances, the bank registered a 21.19% growth, amounting to ₹228,652 crores compared to ₹188,670 crores last year.

Bank of Maharashtra has shared its provisional financial results for the quarter ending December 31, 2024, reflecting notable year-on-year growth. The total business of the bank increased by 16.87%, reaching ₹507,670 crores, compared to ₹434,404 crores in December 2023. The total deposits grew by 13.54%, standing at ₹279,018 crores, up from ₹245,734 crores in the same quarter of the previous year.

The bank’s credit-deposit (CD) ratio also improved, reaching 81.95% for December 2024, up from 76.78% in December 2023, showcasing the bank’s robust lending performance. These results indicate continued strong performance for Bank of Maharashtra as it progresses through FY25.
