Bajaj Electricals eyes new manufacturing facility with Rs 300 crore capex

Bajaj Electricals Ltd. has announced plans to explore the feasibility of establishing a manufacturing unit in India with an estimated capital expenditure of ₹300 crore. The decision was approved by the company’s Board of Directors during a meeting held on March 19, 2025.

Additionally, in a significant step toward global expansion, Bajaj Electricals has approved the formation of a wholly owned subsidiary in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). This initiative aims to enhance the company’s presence in the Middle East and other international markets. The new subsidiary will focus on expanding business opportunities and strengthening Bajaj Electricals’ global footprint.

The establishment of a new manufacturing unit in India is expected to boost local production, create job opportunities, and contribute to the “Make in India” initiative. If implemented, this investment will enhance operational efficiency and reduce dependency on imports.
