Axiscades’s subsidiary Mistral launches AI-enabled Direct RF and Signal Processing system

Mistral Solutions, a subsidiary of Axiscades, has unveiled its cutting-edge AI-powered Direct RF and Signal Processing system, designed to meet the growing demand for high-performance signal processing in various industries. The system features Quad and Octal Direct RF & Signal Processing Modules in a 3U VPX form factor, utilizing Altera Agilex 9 Direct RF FPGAs to offer unparalleled performance in signal detection and processing.

The innovative system eliminates the need for traditional down conversion and up conversion stages in legacy hardware, directly digitizing radio frequency signals from the antenna for superior efficiency. Mistral’s Octal 3U VPX module supports 8 channels, while the Quad 3U VPX module handles 4 channels, with both leveraging Agilex 9 FPGAs that operate at 64GSPS for seamless analog-to-digital signal conversion.
