Amara Raja Energy & Mobility Limited, formerly known as Amara Raja Batteries Limited, has reported its financial results for the quarter ended September 30, 2024. The company’s revenue from operations for Q2 FY2025 increased by 9.8% to ₹3,250.73 crore, up from ₹2,959.72 crore in the same quarter last year. This growth highlights the company’s robust performance amidst evolving market conditions.
However, the company recorded a slight decline in its net profit for the quarter. Net profit after tax stood at ₹235.61 crore, down 1.2% compared to ₹238.40 crore in Q2 FY2024, indicating pressure on profitability despite the revenue increase.
For the half-year ended September 30, 2024, Amara Raja’s revenue amounted to ₹6,513.78 crore, up from ₹5,755.99 crore during the same period in the previous fiscal year. The half-year net profit reached ₹484.73 crore, compared to ₹436.71 crore in the first half of FY2024, reflecting a growth in cumulative profitability.
