Allcargo Terminals Limited has executed a 30-year lease agreement for a 22-acre land parcel in Uran, Raigad, Maharashtra. The lease aims to expand container handling, warehousing, and related operations at the Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust (JNPT).
Under the agreement, the company will pay a monthly lease rent of ₹87.12 lakh, subject to a 15% escalation every three years, starting from April 2025. Additionally, a refundable security deposit of ₹4.4 crore has been placed. The deal will not impact the company’s management or control.
“….this is to inform you, that the Company has executed Lease Agreement today for land parcel admeasuring approximately 22 acres at Village Khopta, Uran Raigad, Maharashtra, for business/capacity expansion.,” the company said in exchange filing.
This strategic move aligns with Allcargo’s plans to strengthen its operational capabilities in one of India’s busiest port regions.
