Adani Power Limited announced the successful amalgamation of its subsidiary, Mahan Energen Limited (MEL), with Stratatech Mineral Resources Private Limited (SMRPL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Adani Enterprises. This development follows the approval granted by the Ahmedabad Bench of the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) on November 7, 2024.
The amalgamation became effective on December 4, 2024, after fulfilling all necessary conditions outlined in the approved scheme. With this merger, SMRPL stands dissolved without requiring a winding-up process. The appointed date for the scheme has been set as April 1, 2024.
This strategic move marks another milestone in Adani Power’s efforts to streamline its operational structure and strengthen its subsidiary’s capabilities.
