Adani Airports seeks hike in User Development Fee at Mumbai International Airport: Report

Adani Airports, a subsidiary of Adani Enterprises, has proposed an increase in the User Development Fee (UDF) at Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, according to a report by CNBC TV18. The proposed hike, if approved, could impact passenger charges at one of India’s busiest airports. The move comes as the company aims to improve infrastructure and manage increasing operational costs.

Meanwhile, Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani confirmed that the much-anticipated Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMI) will now be inaugurated in June 2025, postponing the initial launch date of April 17. The greenfield airport is expected to significantly reduce congestion at Mumbai’s existing international airport, offering additional capacity to handle rising passenger traffic.
