
Navneet Munot is appointed as the new Managing Director of HDFC Mutual Fund, the country’s second-largest mutual fund company. Today, his name was approved for the position in a board meeting.
He is currently the Chief Investment Officer at SBI, the largest mutual fund company in the country.
The ex-MD Milind Barve has been with HDFC Mutual Fund for the last twenty years. He got retired in October. This information was shared with the stock exchange. It has been informed about the approval of Navneet Munot as a new MD.
Milind Barve is 63 years old and had been a long-standing MD in the Rs 28 lakh-crore mutual fund industry. During his time, HDFC Mutual Fund got listed on the stock exchange, making it the second mutual fund company getting listed. The first listing was of Reliance Nippon, and UTI will be listed next month, making it the third company.
