Ceigall Green Energy MP Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Limited, has successfully executed 15 Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) with Limited (MPPMCL) for a solar capacity of 130 MW. This development is part of the Surya Mitra Krishi Feeder Yojana, a government initiative aimed at providing reliable daytime power to the agricultural sector through dedicated solar feeders.

The agreements, finalised on 1st April 2026, outline that Ceigall Green Energy MP Limited will implement, operate, maintain, and supply power from solar photovoltaic generating stations for a period of 25 years. The quoted tariff for this long-term PPA is set at ₹2.85 per unit. The project is estimated to have an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) cost of approximately ₹572 crore, inclusive of GST.

The execution period for the project is set at 12 months, after which the operational phase will commence, lasting for 25 years. This strategic move by Ceigall is expected to bolster its presence in India’s renewable energy sector, aligning with the country’s broader goals for sustainable infrastructure and energy security.

Ramneek Sehgal, Chairman & Managing Director of Ceigall India Limited, expressed satisfaction with this milestone, stating that the completion of all 15 PPAs marks a significant step in strengthening Ceigall’s position in the renewable energy sector. He emphasised the company’s commitment to developing sustainable, high-quality solar assets that support India’s long-term energy transition.
