Can Fin Homes on Saturday announced that the company has appointed Suresh Srinivasan Iyer as their new MD & CEO with immediate effect. The appointment comes in after the co’s previous MD & CEO Girish Kousgi resigned from his post in September 2022 in a shocking move, and ahead of the end of his tenure — September 2024.
The newly appointed chief’s tenure is for three years initially, and can be further extended to two more years, the company said in an exchange filing on Saturday.
Suresh Iyer has worked in Gruh Finance since 1997 and went on to become part of Core Management team early in his career, Can Fin Homes said on Saturday.
Having a steady work experience of over 25 Years in Gruh Finance and worked across multiple positions and different functions viz; Sales, Operations, IT Strategy, Policy & Pricing, Risk, Recovery, Legal etc., he has risen the ranks over the years with successful contribution in all the roles & functions, the company added.
