The order, valued at ₹137.12 crore, is for the supply, warranty, and comprehensive annual maintenance contract (COAMC) of seven wind profiler systems.
The order was communicated to Avantel via email on 27 March 2026. It includes a performance bank guarantee of 5%, a warranty period of three years, and a COAMC period of seven years. The contract is domestic in nature and is expected to be executed by September 2027.
The IMD, a domestic entity, has awarded this order to Avantel, which specialises in manufacturing, warranty, and COAMC services. The contract does not involve any related party transactions, and there is no interest from the promoter or promoter group in the entity awarding the contract.
