Tata Motors drives in a new variant of its premium hatchback Altroz costing 6.6 lakh rupees. The petrol-powered XM+ trim includes various features like the 17.78 cm touchscreen infotainment with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity that provides a seamless driving experience, Tata Motors said in a statement.
The variant also is equipped with steering mounted controls, voice alerts, voice command recognition, remote foldable key among others, it added. “We are confident that the introduction of the XM+ variant will further strengthen the appeal of the Altroz by giving customers an option to experience a variety of premium features at an extremely attractive price,” Tata Motors Passenger Vehicle Business Unit (PVBU) Head Marketing Vivek Srivatsa said.
Altroz was launched earlier in 2020 and has fared reasonably well in the premium hatchback segment gaining large-scale popularity and securing own consumer base – quickly rising up the sales chart and becoming one of the key products on offer from the Indian car maker. Tata Motors is planning to continue advertising project Altroz as not just a premium offering but one that is at a lucrative price point too. Developed on the ALFA architecture of the company, Tata Altroz also managed to get a 5-star GNCAP adult safety rating which further widened its prospects.
