Mahindra & Mahindra on Thursday announced the complete price list along with the variant line-up for XUV700, the company’s benchmark-setting SUV and the most-awaited car launch of 2021. According to the announcement, the booking for all the car variants is set to commence on October 7 at all the Mahindra dealerships pan India. 

The pricing of the XUV700 starts at ₹11.99 lakh for the base MX variant (MT, petrol, 5-Seater) and goes all the way to ₹21.59 lakh for the top range AX7— a 7-seater, diesel automatic variant. All the listed prices are applicable only on the first 25,000 bookings for the SUV, after which a hike in price for the entire range is to be expected.

Moreover, Mahindra has announced a timeline for the test-driving feature at its dealerships at select locations across the country. The car shall be up for test drives in a phased manner which begins from October 2.

In the first phase, the test driving will be available for a list of cities including Delhi NCR, Bangalore, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Pune, Indore, Lucknow, Coimbatore and Vadodara. The second phase is set to commence fro October 7 and will include cities such as Jaipur, Surat, Patna, Cochin, Kanpur, Calicut and Nashik. 

To further innovate and animate the buying experience for the customers, Mahindra has launched an ‘add-to-cart’ option on their official website for the XUV700 — a first for the automotive industry in India — which allows customers to save variant configurations and add custom modifications to their selected cars prior to the booking.

While no announcement regarding the initiation of the delivery process has been made by the manufacturers so far, it is reported that the delivery of the petrol variants will receive first priority and will be subsequently followed by delivery of the diesel variants. An official announcement regarding the finalised delivery dates is expected by October 10.
