Mahindra unveils Scorpio Classic in India

The 9.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system and 6-speaker system in the Mahindra Scorpio Classic are both standard.

In India, the Mahindra Scorpio Classic is now launched. The upgraded SUV features Mahindra’s “twin-peaks” insignia, a new front bumper, and LED DRLs. Two variations of the SUV will be available: the base Classic S and the fully equipped Classic S11. The cost of the new Mahindra Scorpio SUV has not yet been disclosed by the firm, although it is anticipated to be priced similarly to the Mahindra Scorpio-N.

Mahindra Scorpio Classic: Interior

The 9.0-inch infotainment system in the Mahindra Scorpio Classic supports screen mirroring. The touchscreen display now runs Android. The steering wheel has a leatherette finish, while the centre console and dashboard have a wooden appearance. On the steering wheel, one can notice the “twin-peaks” insignia. It’s interesting to note that the third SUV from the firm to feature the new logo is the Mahindra Scorpio Classic.

Climate control is completely automatic in the brand-new SUV. Black and beige make up the dual-tone colour design of the seats. Three seating configurations for the Mahindra Scorpio Classic will be available: two 7-seaters and one 9-seater. One of the seven-seater variants will have a bench seat in the third row after two captain’s seats in the second row. Another seven-seater version will include two jump seats in the third row and a bench seat in the second. On the other hand, the 9-seater vehicle will have a bench seat in the second row and four jump seats in the third row.

The front and rear armrests, a sunglasses holder, electrically adjustable wing mirrors, and projector headlamps are further interior amenities.

Mahindra Scorpio Classic: Exterior and engine

Six vertical slates make up the new front grille-mesh on the Mahindra Scorpio Classic. It sports a new bumper, diamond-cut alloy wheels, and front DRLs that are mounted on top of fog lamps. It sports dual LED tail lights on the back.

The brand-new SUV has a 2.2-liter four-cylinder mHawk engine. The automobile is said to have 300nm of torque and 132 horsepower. The engine is said to weigh 55 kg less than earlier variants. The vehicle has a 6-speed manual transmission.

The new Mahindra Scorpio Classic is equipped with dual airbags, a front seat belt reminder bulb, rear parking sensors with emergency brake indication, and a high-speed alert feature for your safety.
