16 year-old boy beaten to death in Varanasi over mobile phone theft accusation

Acting on the complaint filed by the victim’s mother, Rohania Station House Officer (SHO) Raju Singh confirmed that an FIR has been filed against seven individuals, Ramesh alias Bablu Patel, Ravi Patel, Rohit, Govind, Gaurav Pal, Azad Ali, and one unidentified person. SHO Singh also confirmed that Ramesh has been arrested in connection with the case. Efforts are ongoing to capture the other accused.
