(TSMC), the most traded stock, dropped 1.89% to 1,040 TWD, while MediaTek Inc. suffered the sharpest fall, losing 2.88% to 1,515 TWD.<\/p>\n<p>Other major stocks followed a downward trend, with Hon Hai Precision Industry (Foxconn) plunging 3.60% to 174.0 TWD, and Lotes Co. Ltd. shedding 3.50% to 1,655 TWD.<\/p>\n<p>Asia Optical Co.
