This aligns with Vi\u1ec7t Nam\u2019s National Digital Transformation Programme, which seeks to leverage technology for economic growth.<\/p>\n<p>Minh stressed the importance of international cooperation in achieving digital transformation. He noted that partnerships with major global technology firms can facilitate the research, development, and implementation of innovative technologies in Vi\u1ec7t Nam. This collaborative approach aims to share valuable experiences and provide actionable solutions to support the country\u2019s digital economy.<\/p>\n<p>The digital economy encompasses all activities utilizing technology and data to enhance productivity, innovate business models, and optimize economic structures. Vi\u1ec7t Nam has set ambitious goals: the digital economy is expected to contribute 20% to GDP by 2025 and 30% by 2030. To realize these targets, 5G technology will be essential.<\/p>\n<p>Nguy\u1ec5n Tu\u1ea5n Huy, Head of the Digital Transformation Department at MobiFone, emphasized that digital transformation aims to enhance efficiency and service quality across all business operations. He described it as a shift toward modern production methods, not merely the adoption of digital tools.<\/p>\n<p>Rita Mokbel, President of Ericsson Vietnam, noted that 5G could revolutionize various industries by enabling automation and improving productivity. She indicated that sectors such as manufacturing, logistics, and smart cities would see significant benefits. Mokbel asserted that private 5G networks could foster innovation and provide new revenue streams for telecom operators, aligning with Vi\u1ec7t Nam\u2019s digital economy objectives.<\/p>\n<p>Ho\u00e0ng Vi\u1ec7t Ti\u1ebfn, Deputy General Secretary of the Vietnam Digital Communications Association, pointed out the need for collaboration among managers, network operators, solution providers, and end users to ensure successful digital transformation. He advocated for user-friendly solutions and clear governmental guidelines.<\/p>\n<p>Experts concluded that robust digital infrastructure is foundational for meeting the surging demand for connectivity and data processing. Key initiatives include developing high-quality broadband, advancing 5G infrastructure, and enhancing international internet connections, particularly through undersea fiber optic cables.
