Nguy\u1ec5n Ho\u00e0ng, chairman of Hansiba and vice chairman of the Vietnam Association of Supporting Industries, highlighted the significant role the aerospace industry plays in Vietnam\u2019s industrialization strategy, particularly in high-tech and supporting technology sectors. He noted that obtaining AS9100 certification will enable Vietnamese companies to access international markets in aerospace manufacturing.<\/p>\n
In a collaborative effort to strengthen Vietnam\u2019s aerospace capabilities, Hansiba, along with N&G Holdings Group and ten member companies of the Kobe Aviation Industry (KAN) in Japan, recently signed a cooperation agreement to establish the Techno Park Vietnam Complex. This partnership aims to facilitate knowledge transfer regarding technology and production processes, particularly concerning global production certifications. According to Ho\u00e0ng, meeting international technical and quality standards is crucial for Vietnamese enterprises to integrate into the global aerospace supply chain.<\/p>\n
Nguy\u1ec5n \u0110\u00ecnh Th\u1eafng, Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade, underscored the city\u2019s commitment to attracting investments in production development, particularly in the Hanoi Supporting Industry Park (HANSSIP) and other industrial zones. He urged businesses to prioritize research and investment in order to implement AS9100 certification effectively, thereby qualifying for both domestic and international production chains.<\/p>\n
Onaga Masaru, chairman of Onaga Vietnam Company, remarked that while the aircraft manufacturing industry is relatively nascent in Vietnam, there is a growing interest from major players like Boeing, which presents significant opportunities for local companies. However, he noted that no domestic manufacturers currently meet the qualifications to participate in the aircraft supply chain.<\/p>\n
