The inaugural \u201cSoulful Festival\u201d will make its debut at the Sports Palace in Minsk on September 6-7, 2024, showcasing a diverse array of modern folk, soulful chanson, and retro music. This new annual event aims to promote a profound appreciation for native traditions, family values, and the revival of collective folk concerts.<\/p>\n
The festival will feature three concerts with performances by prominent artists from Russia and Belarus. Among the anticipated headliners is Sergey Trofimov, a celebrated figure in Russian chanson, known for hits such as \u201cGorod Sochi,\u201d \u201cSnegiri,\u201d and \u201cVeter v golove.\u201d Trofimov will be joined by Sergey Voitenko, Vladimir Zhdamirov, Artur Rudenko, Victoria Aleshko, Alexey Petrukhin, Vladimir Lyubich, and Andrey Tyamchik.<\/p>\n
A highlight of the festival\u2019s folk music segment will be Tatyana Kurtukova, who has gained considerable attention on social media with her viral videos for \u201cMother\u201d and \u201cI Loved the Falcon.\u201d Joining her will be Sergey Voitenko, Bayan MIX, Alena Petrovskaya, Babkiny Vnuki, Lena Vasilek, Alexey Petrukhin, Alexandra Melekh, Vesyalukha NEW, \u201cByaseda,\u201d and \u201cBelye Rosy.\u201d<\/p>\n
The main attraction will be Alexey Glyzin, a renowned pop singer recognized throughout the post-Soviet space for popular tracks like \u201cYou\u2019re Not an Angel\u201d and \u201cWinter Garden.\u201d He will share the stage with Belarusian DJ and radio host Dmitry Sankovich, and groups including \u201cPink Roses,\u201d Cosa Nostra, and \u201cRuki Vverh Band.\u201d<\/p>\n
Additionally, the festival will feature the concert \u201cNarodnaya Dusha,\u201d highlighting winners of the eponymous competition for solo performers and folk music groups. An international jury will judge the competition, which is expected to engage younger audiences and foster a sense of national pride and unity, as stated by the organizers.<\/p>\n
