He highlighted that India\u2019s leadership was globally recognized as it successfully secured African Union membership in the G20.<\/p>\n
Modi expressed immense pride in the recent declarations of Santiniketan, associated with Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore, and the Hoysala temples of Karnataka as world heritage sites. India now boasts 42 such sites, reflecting the country\u2019s ongoing efforts to have more locations linked to its culture and heritage recognized as World Heritage Sites.<\/p>\n
As Mahatma Gandhi\u2019s birth anniversary approaches on October 2, Prime Minister Narendra Modi remarked that the image of world leaders paying their respects at Gandhi\u2019s memorial during the G20 Summit remains unforgettable, underscoring the enduring global relevance of Gandhi\u2019s ideas.<\/p>\n
