Bilotaite announced the unprecedented surveillance network stretching \u201cfrom Norway to Poland\u201d following a meeting in Lithuania with her counterparts from Estonia, Latvia, Finland, Poland and Norway.<\/p>\n
While not directly naming Russia, the reference to \u201cunfriendly countries\u201d left little doubt the drone surveillance barrier is intended as a countermeasure against potential cross-border incursions or hybrid threats from Russian forces.
