Pro-democracy fighters in Myanmar led by the Mandalay People’s Defence Force are employing grassroots-driven innovation to challenge the military junta's dominance.
On Sunday night, close to 5,000 citizens from Myanmar, including 39 army personnel, entered India. This influx occurred after a confrontation between rebel groups and the military, along with bombings in two villages near the border on the Indian side.
The Three Brotherhood Alliance targeted military outposts, checkpoints, toll gates, police stations, and border crossings that are controlled by the Junta. The alliance had used artillery, rockets, and small arms and claimed they had the backing of local resistance fighters and civilians.
