SIT embarks on new era in Punggol with campus integration and community engagement

The new campus, accessible via the Punggol Coast MRT and Teck Lee LRT stations, is designed to be open and engaging. Its ground floor spaces will be open to the public, and the university plans to host various events to foster community interaction. One key initiative is the Integrated Work Study Programme (IWSP), which will offer numerous opportunities for local students and residents to engage with SIT’s academic community.

SIT’s work-study program achieves milestone success with 900 partner companies

The IWSP, which requires students to engage in eight-month to year-long internships, was initially met with skepticism regarding the feasibility of such extended placements. However, SIT's strategic approach has proven successful. The program now boasts participation from prestigious firms such as Deloitte, PwC, Siemens, Accenture, and key government-linked organizations including SMRT and the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore.
