Witnesses described scenes of chaos as the battle unfolded. "It was like nothing I've ever seen," said Tal al-Hawa resident Ahmed Mansour. "The streets were full of smoke and the noise of explosions. People ran for their lives."
During the attack outside the hospital, one doctor and one male patient sustained injuries. The hospital has reported that the shooting incident seems to have taken place near one of its buildings where the pediatric, plastic surgery, and dermatology departments are located.
