Stock market news: DBS gains 0.85%, OCBC Bank up 1.25%, UOB slips 0.43% in midday trading

On 16th December, DBS emerged as the highest-volume stock on the Singapore Exchange during midday trading. As of 1:27 PM local time, DBS shares rose by 0.85%, trading at 44.11 SGD, reflecting strong investor interest.

OCBC Bank also saw robust activity, gaining 1.25% to trade at 16.97 SGD. Meanwhile, UOB experienced a slight decline of 0.43%, with its shares priced at 37.19 SGD.

Other actively traded stocks included Singtel, which edged up by 0.32% to 3.15 SGD, and SIA (Singapore Airlines), which recorded a minor dip of 0.16%, trading at 6.41 SGD. YZJ Shipbuilding SGD also traded lower, slipping 0.35% to 2.87 SGD.
