Singapore market update: Singtel gains 1.27%, YZJ Shipbuilding rises 0.78%, Genting Sing drops 0.64% amid high volume

As of 12:18 p.m. local Singapore time, Singtel led trading volume with a notable gain of 1.27%, moving shares to 3.20 SGD.  YZJ Shipbuilding recorded an increase of 0.78%, trading at 2.59 SGD.

Conversely, Genting Singapore experienced a decline, falling 0.64% to 0.780 SGD, demonstrating contrasting dynamics among high-volume stocks for the day. Other actively traded stocks included DBS, which rose by 0.38% to reach 42.50 SGD; UOB, which saw a modest gain of 0.06%, trading at 35.55 SGD; and OCBC Bank, which was up by 0.12%, trading at 16.19 SGD.
