The charity, which has requested to remain unnamed, has been at the forefront of several humanitarian initiatives over the years, particularly in regions severely impacted by conflict and poverty. This year’s Ramadan fundraising campaign was one of its most successful, rallying support from the local Muslim community as well as non-Muslims who were moved by the plight of Gaza’s vulnerable population.

The final transfer, amounting to S$1.1 million, marks the culmination of months of efforts to gather and distribute the donations efficiently. The charity’s campaign is part of a broader effort by various organizations in Singapore to respond to global humanitarian crises. Over the years, Singapore has built a reputation for its charitable contributions to international causes, often rallying significant funds during times of need.

UNICEF has also acknowledged the contribution, emphasizing the importance of global solidarity in addressing the needs of children in conflict zones.
