Vice Admiral AN Pramod, Director General of Naval Operations, presided over the third meeting of the Inter-agency Committee for Recovery Operations (ICRO) at the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) headquarters in Bengaluru. This crucial meeting focused on coordinating recovery operations for the upcoming Gaganyaan missions, India’s ambitious human spaceflight program.
The ICRO meeting is a significant step in ensuring that all recovery aspects of the Gaganyaan missions are meticulously planned and executed. During his visit to the ISRO headquarters, Vice Admiral Pramod also took the opportunity to meet with Dr. S. Somanath, the Chairman of ISRO and Secretary of the Department of Space (DoS).
