
The third Voice of the Global South Summit has wrapped up successfully, bringing together representatives from 123 countries to discuss and address key global challenges. The summit, which focused on the theme “An Empowered Global South For A Sustainable Future,” was marked by significant participation and high-level discussions.
External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar announced the conclusion of the summit during a press conference in New Delhi. He highlighted the extensive involvement from across the globe, noting that the event included 21 heads of state and government, 118 ministers (excluding foreign ministers), and 34 foreign ministers.
The summit’s agenda centered around empowering nations in the Global South and promoting sustainable development initiatives. The discussions aimed to foster collaborative approaches to overcoming challenges faced by these countries and to enhance their roles in global affairs.
