On August 9, 2024, Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi, Chief of the Naval Staff, will review the Passing Out Parade (POP) of the fourth batch of Agniveers at INS Chilka, marking a key event in the Indian Navy’s Agniveer recruitment and training program. The parade will celebrate the completion of rigorous training for these new recruits, who are set to join the Navy under the Agniveer scheme.
INS Chilka, located in Odisha, has been a central training facility for the Agniveer program, which aims to infuse the Indian Navy with young and dynamic personnel.
