 
												Dubai Airport has issued a weather advisory cautioning travelers about anticipated rainy conditions in the region. The advisory, issued amidst extreme weather conditions in the United Arab Emirates, warned passengers of potential flight disruptions and urged them to plan their journeys accordingly.
The advisory, issued on Thursday, recommended travelers to check flight statuses with airlines, allocate extra travel time to reach the airport, and consider utilizing the Dubai Metro, which is operational until 5 AM Friday.
The extreme weather conditions, marked by intense rainfall and thunderstorms, have disrupted daily life across the UAE, prompting authorities to issue an orange alert. The unstable weather peaked on Thursday, leading authorities to urge residents to remain indoors.
Remote work has been implemented in both public and private sectors, with educational institutions transitioning to distance learning to ensure student safety. Parks, beaches, and other public recreational areas have been temporarily closed to prevent accidents during the severe weather.
Due to weather-related disruptions, Dubai Airport indicated that about five flights had to be diverted while 13 were cancelled. Travelers departing from DXB were urged to likely face road congestion along with being advised to utilize the Dubai Metro for access to Terminals 1 and 3.
