Oman Air has announced a significant upgrade to its passenger boarding system (PBS) at Muscat International Airport, set to take effect from August 4th, 2024. The overhaul aims to enhance efficiency and improve the overall travel experience for passengers.
The new system introduces advanced technology designed to streamline the boarding process. Key features include automated boarding gates, which will expedite the check-in and boarding procedures, reducing waiting times and minimizing congestion at departure gates. In addition to the automated gates, the new PBS will incorporate real-time data tracking.
