Yang Ming Marine Transport Corp stood out as the leading performer, soaring 8.99% to 82.4 TWD.
Zero One Technology followed with a 4.12% gain, closing at 151.5 TWD, while Wiwynn Corporation advanced by 3.73% to 2,500 TWD.
Other high-volume stocks showing strong gains included Alchip Technologies Limited, which rose by 3.13% to 2,640 TWD, and Evergreen Marine Corp (Taiwan), up by 3.29% to 235.5 TWD.
Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing, the largest-cap stock in the mix, posted a modest gain of 0.47%, closing at 1,070 TWD.
