Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing gained 1.34% to close at 1,135 TWD, maintaining its market leadership amid strong demand for semiconductor chips. LuxNet Corporation led the gainers with a 9.98% surge, ending at 242.5 TWD.
In contrast, Wiwynn Corporation declined 5.29%, closing at 2,240 TWD, as profit-taking weighed on the stock after recent gains. Elite Advanced Laser Corp recorded a modest gain of 0.30%, finishing at 334.5 TWD.
Mitac Holdings Corporation saw strong growth, rising 9.94% to 73.0 TWD, signalling positive sentiment in the sector. Meanwhile, MediaTek Inc. remained unchanged at 1,465 TWD, with investors awaiting further market developments.
