Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing led the pack, trading at 1,080 TWD, marking a modest increase of 1.41%.
Luxnet Corporation followed with a notable gain of 7.59%, closing at 205.5 TWD. Luxnet Corporation is a Taiwanese company specializing in developing and producing high-tech solutions, primarily in telecommunications and network infrastructure.
Quanta Computer also performed well, with its shares rising 3.75% to 290.5 TWD, while Elite Advanced Laser Corp. closed at 284.0 TWD, up 3.65%.
Alchip Technologies Limited saw a slight decline of 2.10%, ending at 3,035 TWD, and Hon Hai Precision Industry ended the day down by 0.55%, trading at 181.5 TWD.
