At 11:28 am TST (GMT+8) on Wednesday, 12 February 2025, Taiwan’s most actively traded stocks saw mixed performances, with PharmaEssentia Corp leading the gainers and LuxNet Corporation experiencing the steepest decline.
PharmaEssentia surged 8.11% to 773 TWD, attracting strong investor interest. Asia Optical Co. Inc. also posted a gain of 3.11%, reaching 199.0 TWD.
Meanwhile, MediaTek Inc, a key player in Taiwan’s tech sector, dipped 0.33% to 1,505 TWD, while Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co (TSMC) edged down 0.45% to 1,105 TWD.
On the downside, Elite Advanced Laser Corp dropped 6.20% to 317.5 TWD, and LuxNet Corporation saw the biggest decline, plunging 9.92% to 222.5 TWD.
With Taiwan’s semiconductor and technology sectors in focus, market participants closely monitor these stocks for further price movements.
