
Mitac Holdings Corporation emerged as the top gainer among Taiwan’s highest-volume stocks, rising 5.96% to 78.2 TWD as of 11:09 am TST on Tuesday.
Ta Chen Stainless Pipe Corp also saw a significant rise, gaining 4.77% to 43.90 TWD. Hon Hai Precision Industry followed with a 3.74% increase, trading at 180.5 TWD.
Meanwhile, MediaTek Inc advanced 2.70% to 1,520 TWD, and GCS Holdings Inc posted a modest 0.69% gain to reach 146.5 TWD.
Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing (TSMC), the world’s largest contract chipmaker, remained unchanged at 1,105 TWD despite being one of the highest-volume stocks. Investors continue to monitor TSMC closely as it plays a crucial role in the global semiconductor industry.
