The Taiwan stock market saw steep declines among several stocks on Thursday, 5 December 2024 (GMT+9), with companies in the medical technology and electronics sectors experiencing significant losses.
Heron Neutron Medical Corp led the losers, dropping 11.06% to close at 265.5 TWD.
Champion Microelectronic Corp followed with a 9.96% decline, ending the session at 63.3 TWD.
Lumosa Therapeutics Co Ltd also faced a significant loss of 9.87%, closing at 237.5 TWD.
Other notable decliners included Otobrite Electronic Inc., which fell 9.30% to 25.85 TWD, and Best Precision Industrial Co Ltd, down 8.80% to 197.0 TWD.
Compal Broadband Networks Inc. rounded out the list, declining 8.59% to 27.15 TWD.
