Taipei, 12:34 pm Tuesday, 28 January 2025 (GMT+8) — Taiwan’s stock exchange saw high volatility on Tuesday, with several stocks experiencing sharp fluctuations.
Ecocera Optronics Co. Ltd. emerged as the most volatile stock, skyrocketing by 18.75% to close at 114.0 TWD. Beast Kingdom Co. Ltd. followed closely, gaining 15.00% to reach 78.2 TWD.
Other significant gainers included Acon Optics Communications Inc., up by 13.67% to 237.0 TWD, and GMT Global Inc., which rose by 13.61% to 88.5 TWD.
Visgeneer Inc. also posted a strong performance, increasing 13.50% to 11.10 TWD.
However, Marx Biotech Co. Ltd. faced notable losses, falling 6.45% to 7.98 TWD, standing out as the day’s largest decliner among the high-volatility stocks.
