On the other hand, Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing saw a decline of 2.30%, trading at 1,060 TWD, while Hon Hai Precision Industry fell by 2.17% to 180.5 TWD.
Alchip Technologies dropped by 0.75%, reaching 3,315 TWD, and MediaTek Inc. also saw a small decline of 0.70%, trading at 1,410 TWD.
