Stock market news: T’way Air and Daeyoung Packaging lead KOSPI gains with 16.47% and 29.77% jumps

At 3:42 pm Thursday, 23 January 2025 (GMT+9), several stocks on the Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) recorded significant trading activity, accompanied by notable price gains.

T’way Air saw a sharp increase, closing at 3,960 KRW, up 16.47%. As a prominent low-cost carrier in South Korea, the company attracted significant investor attention during the session.

Daeyoung Packaging led the gains with a remarkable 29.77% rise, closing at 2,245 KRW. Wooriro Co. recorded a 4.90% increase, closing at 1,755 KRW.

Black Yak I&C, known for its outdoor apparel and equipment, closed at 4,960 KRW, marking an 8.89% gain.  Solid, Inc. finished the day at 7,300 KRW, up 2.96%, while Polaris AI closed at 3,135 KRW, rising 1.95%. Both stocks showed stable growth.
