At 1:38 pm Monday, 16 December 2024 (GMT+9), KOYJ.Co., Ltd. led the list of top decliners on the Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI), plunging 24.94% to 1,595 KRW. The company, involved in industrial solutions, faced significant selling pressure.

Other major losers included DGenx Co., Ltd., down 24.82% to 1,133 KRW, and E8IGHT Co., Ltd., which fell 24.18% to 6,020 KRW.

Total Soft Bank Ltd. dropped 23.84%, trading at 8,400 KRW, while E-STARCO declined by 23.68% to 1,700 KRW.

These declines highlight the volatility in the South Korean market, with some stocks experiencing sharp corrections.
