The Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) saw a significant jump of 1.48% as of 11:17 am Monday, 25 November 2024 (GMT+9), in Seoul, South Korea. The benchmark index is currently trading at 2,538.37 KRW, reflecting an increase of 37.12 points from its previous close of 2,501.25 KRW.

The trading day began strongly, with KOSPI opening at 2,524.11 KRW, marking an upward momentum. It has since fluctuated within the range of 2,517.98 KRW to 2,540.62 KRW.

The KOSPI, introduced in 1983 with a base value of 100, tracks all common shares listed on the Korea Stock Exchange. It is considered a critical indicator for those monitoring the health of Asian markets.
