The Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) opened on a positive note at 11:01 am Thursday, 21 November 2024 (GMT+9). The index climbed 0.13%, adding 3.20 points to reach 2,485.50 KRW during early trading.

KOSPI began the day at 2,474.62 KRW, slightly higher than the previous close of 2,482.30 KRW. It has so far traded within the range of 2,474.62 to 2,488.70 KRW.

Launched in 1983 with a base value 100, the KOSPI is a benchmark for South Korea’s stock market performance. It tracks all common shares listed on the Korea Stock Exchange, including industry leaders like Samsung Electronics and Hyundai Motor.
