North Hwanghae Province in the DPRK is intensifying efforts to strengthen the material and technical foundations of its raw materials bases across cities and counties. This strategic push aims to enhance self-reliance and efficiency in local production, contributing to the region’s overall development goals.
A key objective is the construction of work team rooms equipped with lodging and boarding facilities, along with stock-breeding areas and greenhouses, across multiple work teams. This initiative is designed to provide better living and working conditions for workers while also ensuring a steady supply of essential resources for production. The province has set a goal to establish such facilities at several work teams and is accelerating efforts to achieve this target.
Unpha County Raw Materials Base Station has emerged as a model in this initiative, having completed the construction of its work infrastructure. The experience and practices from this successful implementation are now being applied to other cities and counties within the province to replicate similar outcomes.
In particular, Songrim City, as well as Hwangju and Koksan counties, have completed their respective projects in a remarkably short time by efficiently organizing labour and ensuring a steady supply of equipment and materials. Other regions within North Hwanghae Province have also reported significant progress in upgrading their raw materials bases, contributing to the broader provincial objective.
The province is actively producing a range of farm implements and high-efficiency farming machines, distributing them to the raw materials bases. This initiative aims to improve productivity and sustain the ongoing development of North Hwanghae Province’s agricultural sector, further reinforcing the province’s commitment to self-sufficiency and economic growth.
North Hwanghae Province is implementing advanced agricultural techniques and technologies to optimize crop yields and ensure sustainability. By providing technical training to workers and incorporating modern farming practices, the province aims to boost productivity and enhance the quality of produce, thereby supporting the region’s goal of achieving greater self-reliance in food production.
