Advantest Corp (6857) saw the steepest decline, falling 8.94% to 8,102 JPY. SoftBank Group Corp (9984) also faced a significant loss, closing at 8,231 JPY, down 6.55%.
Among other actively traded stocks, Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group Inc (8306) closed at 1,902.0 JPY, slipping 1.98%, while Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (7011) dropped 3.98% to 1,988.0 JPY. On the positive side, DeNA Co Ltd (2432) gained 0.60% to reach 3,995 JPY.
