Stocks with the highest trading volume on the Tokyo Stock Exchange saw mixed performances as trading closed. Fujikura (5803) led in volume but declined 4.10% to 6,932 JPY. Sony Group (6758) recorded a strong gain of 8.65%, closing at 3,705 JPY, while IHI Corporation (7013) dropped 4.72% to 8,986 JPY.
Other high-volume stocks included SoftBank Group (9984), which rose 1.40% to 9,637 JPY, and Advantest Corp (6857), which declined 1.44% to 9,087 JPY. Hitachi (6501) also posted a notable gain of 4.33%, closing at 4,312 JPY.
