Stock market : Fujikura drops 10.63%, IHI gains 2.29%, Advantest falls 8.43% in highest volume stocks on Nikkei

Tokyo, Japan – January 27, 2025, 3:39 PM JSTFujikura (5803) led the highest volume stocks on the Nikkei 225 during Monday’s session, closing at 6,524 JPY, down 10.63%. The stock saw heavy trading as investors reacted to market conditions.

IHI Corporation (7013) was another active stock, rising 2.29% to close at 8,817 JPY, showing resilience amid broader market declines. Meanwhile, Advantest Corp (6857) declined 8.43%, ending the session at 9,203 JPY.

Other high-volume stocks included SoftBank Group Corp (9984), which dropped 8.18% to 9,695 JPY, while Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group Inc (8306) edged up 0.87% to 1,923.5 JPY. Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (7011) closed at 2,286.5 JPY, down 1.51%.
